Two Sessions at the EGU General Assembly

The General Assembly 2023 of the European Geosciences Union (EGU) is held in Vienna, Austria from 23–28 April 2023.

Two Sessions at the EGU General Assembly will be provided by ISIMIP related scientists.

"Attributing observed changes and events in natural, managed, and human systems to climate change" convened by Sabine Undorf, Veronika Huber, Matthias Mengel, Lukas Gudmundsson, and Sihan Li

The session aims to explore the diversity of methods employed across disciplines and schools of thought.

 

"Space-time dynamics of floods: processes, controls, and risk" convened by Larisa Tarasova, William Farmer, Nivedita Sairam, Dominik Paprotny and Marco Lompi

The scope of this session is to report when, where, how and why changes in the space-time dynamics of floods occur, and presentations on attributing different drivers to observed changes in flood occurrence (both climate and non-climate) are particularly welcomed.
