The event will discuss the latest evidence on how climate change is undermining the foundations of good health, as well as detailing the health benefits of a rapid and robust response to climate change in Europe.

Also the gaps the new Lancet Countdown in Europe initiative fills at the local and regional level will be highlighted, and the new Lancet Countdown Europe policy brief will be discussed. By bringing together leading academics and policymakers with wide-ranging expertise and experience, a platform to contextualise climate change and health in a European context will be provided.

Work of PROCLIAS TG3.2 will be represented in the event.
